Striking liquid gold on Pom Pom

Returning to Pom Pom after a year away, one of the things on our to do list was to create a new well and have a new fresh water supply on camp.



At 6 foot deep we struck water

After a few hours of hard work digging we hit the fresh water table.



 



A recycled water tank and dust bin make great well construction materials.

A mornings work and we have a new fresh water supply for drinking water and for our fresh water showers and toilets.
